Welcome to the Official Website of the 7th International Conference on Applied Science and Technology (ICAST) 27th – 28th March 2019.

Every year, college of the science / University of Kerbala in Karbala city, Iraq, is holding the international conference on Applied Science and Technology. This conference was established to provide an ideal platform for researchers to share views and experiences in applied science and technology related areas. Over a period of two days, 27th – 28th March 2019 at the University of Kerbala. the event will include a number of activities such as workshops, poster sessions and charity fairs.

English is the official language of the conference. Authors are invited to submit full and original research papers which are NOT submitted, published or under consideration anywhere in other conferences or journal using our online submission system.

Aims of the Conference

To provide an international platform that allows researchers, academicians and industry experts to share and discuss their latest research, ideas, and survey reports in the theoretical and practical areas regarding all aspects of technology and applied sciences.

To enable the collaboration between the scientists and technologists in academic and industrial fields as well as international networks.

In addition, poster sessions and exhibitions offer ample opportunity for information exchange among delegates and participants on a more personal level, especially for those who are looking for collaborative opportunities.

Call For Papers

The 7th International Conference on Applied Science and Technology (ICAST) 2019 provides a leading forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of ِِApplied science and Technology. The conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world. Accordingly, Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:

1- Chemical Science.

2- Biological Science.

3- Physics Science.

4- Computer Science and Information Technology.

5-Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Safety and Security.

6- Other Topics in Technologies and Science Applications.

Conference Deadlines and Fees

Students will get a 10% discount on the submission fees. There will be a prize for the best workshop and best poster.

The ICAST2019 will not charge the workshop presenter, so it is completely free to hold a workshop during the conference after submitting a proposal using the online system. However, the participant should pay 25,000 IQD (20 USD) to attend the workshop.

All the workshops will be registered to University of Kerbala Continuous Learning division. therefore, all the participant in these workshops will granted a certificate upon the end of the workshop. More information about the poster guideline could be found in the guidelines section of the site.

PhD students and researchers are invited to submit a poster showcasing their work. Poster submission fees are 25,000 IQD (20USD) for the accepted posters. All the posters should be submitted using the online system. More information about the poster guideline could be found in the guidelines section of the site.
